The MyFit by restor3d patient engagement ecosystem includes multiple experiences tailored to restor3d’s orthopedic portfolio. Together, these capabilities are designed to keep patients informed while reducing the administrative burden associated with routine implant status inquiries to their surgeon’s office.
MyFit by restor3d extends restor3d’s commitment to personalization beyond implant design and into the patient experience. Through automated communications and an interactive patient portal, patients can receive updates throughout the creation of their personalized implant, track its status, and, for select procedures, view a 3D model of their personalized design before surgery.
“Personalization has always been at the center of what we do at restor3d, and MyFit by restor3d allows us to bring that same philosophy directly to the patient experience,” said Kurt Jacobus, Chief Executive Officer of restor3d. “Patients undergoing joint replacement are increasingly engaged in their care and want to better understand the technology and treatment designed specifically for them. MyFit by restor3d gives patients a unique connection to their personalized implant while allowing us to continue learning from their outcomes over time.”
The MyFit by restor3d patient engagement ecosystem includes multiple experiences tailored to restor3d’s orthopedic portfolio. MyFit Connect by restor3d provides hip and knee patients with automated SMS updates at key milestones throughout their implant journey, from enrollment and design through manufacturing and surgery readiness. For shoulder and foot and ankle patients, the MyFit by restor3d patient portal provides access to implant status updates and an interactive 3D model of their personalized design. Patients can access the experience using simple identifying information without the need to create or remember a password.
Together, these capabilities are designed to keep patients informed while reducing the administrative burden associated with routine implant status inquiries to their surgeon’s office.
MyFit by restor3d also provides patients with the opportunity to participate in the restor3d Patient-Specific Registry, a prospective, longitudinal registry designed to collect patient-reported outcomes from baseline through five years following surgery. The registry encompasses knee, hip, shoulder, and foot and ankle procedures and is designed to enroll approximately 2,250 patients.
Through direct-to-patient electronic patient-reported outcome collection, restor3d aims to build a growing body of real-world evidence around patient-specific, 3D-printed orthopedic implants while minimizing additional administrative requirements for participating practices. Participating surgeons can receive their patients’ reported outcomes, creating an additional connection between personalized technology and longitudinal patient experience.
“MyFit creates an opportunity to connect three things that are fundamental to the future of personalized orthopedics: the patient experience, the technology used to treat each individual patient, and the outcomes that follow,” said Michael Swank, MD, Imperial Health, Lake Charles, Louisiana. “By giving patients greater visibility into their care while creating a streamlined pathway for long-term outcomes collection, we can continue building the clinical evidence that helps us understand and advance personalized orthopedic care.”
The launch represents another step in restor3d’s broader effort to create a connected ecosystem around personalized orthopedic care. From patient-specific planning and implant design to manufacturing, surgery, patient engagement, and long-term outcomes, restor3d is working to connect each stage of the patient journey through technology and data.
MyFit by restor3d launches September 8, 2026 available to all restor3d surgeons with a restor3d patient-specific case.
