Palm Springs, CA (PRUnderground) November 2nd, 2026

Jorge Gallegos, the Dallas DJ and event producer known as House of Manchic, will perform at Greater Palm Springs Pride on Saturday, November 7, 2026. His set runs from 2:00 to 3:00 PM PT on the Arenas Stage in the Arenas District, during the festival’s 40th anniversary weekend. Admission is free.
The festival runs November 6 to 8 across three stages in downtown Palm Springs. Saturday’s Arenas Stage lineup is hosted by Jai Rodriguez.
For Gallegos, the weekend is personal. His birthday has landed on Pride weekend several times, and this year he gets to celebrate both on stage.
“From White Party to Pride, Palm Springs has always felt like a place where we can show up as ourselves, find our people and make memories that stay with us long after the weekend ends,” said Gallegos. “Getting to celebrate my birthday by playing the 40th anniversary of Palm Springs Pride feels incredibly special.”
House of Manchic started during the pandemic lockdowns, inspired by DJs around the world who turned their living rooms into dance floors. His sets blend jackin’ house, disco house and Afro house. They’re emotional but high energy, and built around one idea: the dance floor is for everyone.
Gallegos moved to Dallas from Mexico, and walked Dallas Pride on Cedar Springs Road for the first time in 2010. Sixteen years later, on September 19, he played the Dallas in Pride stage at Oak Lawn Live, the first festival ever held on that same street. In October he made his Orlando debut during Orlando Pride at SWEATBOX, the city’s queer-owned pop-up rave. His other sets include Green Light Social, The Dallas Eagle, JR’s and STRUT NYC.
He launched Summer House in Dallas in July 2025. It’s a queer tea dance and pool party series, built as an alternative to circuit parties, where soulful house music, conversation and community come first. Its first season ran five events and drew more than 200 unique guests. Season 2 ran June through October 2026 at the Dive In in Dallas. The HELP Center for LGBTQ+ Health was the season’s presenting sponsor, and Summer House had a special partnership with Texas Latino Pride. Summer House returns for its second annual Holiday Edition on December 19 at ReView Lounge in Dallas. He also produces the Bulge and Sungaybest party series.
His filmed set “Afro House by The Ocean,” recorded at Mantamar Beach in Mexico, passed 14,000 YouTube views in its first two weeks. He’s also a queer content creator, with more than 47,000 followers on his personal Instagram, @manchic.
