DETROIT, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Walker-Miller Energy Services announced it has been ranked No. 1045 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, the annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Past honorees include companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia.
“Being named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list is a powerful reminder of what can happen when you lead with purpose and never lose sight of the people you’re serving,” says Carla Walker-Miller, Founder and CEO of Walker-Miller Energy Services. “From the beginning, our mission has been to create positive impact by helping families, businesses, and communities access energy solutions that improve quality of life, reduce energy burdens, and expand economic opportunity. As one of the nation’s largest Black- and woman-owned energy efficiency and clean energy firms, we have shown that it is possible to build a high-performing company while staying true to our values.”
Walker-Miller continues, “This recognition belongs to our incredible team, whose passion and commitment drive our success every day, and to our clients and partners who trust us to help them achieve their goals. I am especially proud that our growth reflects the strength, resilience, and innovation of Detroit and the many communities we serve. We are honored by this recognition, but even more excited about the opportunity ahead as we continue to lead the transition to a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous energy future.”
This year’s Inc. 5000 recognizes a new class of companies redefining what growth looks like.
